Love this story but at some points, it tends to drag on

How long must I wait till they're finally together? They're obviously habor feelings for each other, but they never said it out loud. Base on the few first chapters, they postponed this well for the next 5-6 years. I feel like I need to comeback after this finally finished, or else I will have my heart broken before they do
