Isagi's character is so awesome. He never expects or truly asks his teammates to sacrifice their own goals for him. Yes, Isagi wants to be the one to score, but he doesn't expect his team to bow down to him and give up on themselves. Instead he constantly seeks ways to use his team's improvements to improve himself and thus demands his own goals during the match by putting himself in the best position for it. It's so different from Barou and Kaiser and even Rin--those who expect others to yield to them.
In this instance, Hiori's ego for a goal created additional variables on the field that Isagi can now exploit to create a way forward for himself. It's so exciting.
Hiori is so relatable. This is making me sad. Living for other people leaves you in a bad spot when those expectations can't keep you busy or help you ignore how empty and unfulfilled you truly are.
