This is certainly a choice to end the season and a wrong one at that. The chapter alone has several options, could've ended with Vivian saying I love you or them hugging in the bed

Their relationship have an odd mix of healthy and toxic and no in between. Starting off with stalker FL, talks of locking up and hide away etc, but there's also good communication like when FL musters up the courage to reassure ML. Then back to the locking up talk we go

Artist Note on TappyToon says it will return in November. Hopefully, that means in English. Apparently, this was their first webtoon (SO PRETTY THOUGH!!!), and they had a a bit of a hard time keeping up with the deadlines. So, taking a break to "recharge," then Season 2 in November.
